This question is directed to Wildlife Reserves Singapore's marketing team.
We understand that this event is being planned by Singapore Poly students so I assume there is no event planning cost. However, I am pretty concerned about the spending for outdoor advertising as I remember seeing bus wraps as one of the ATL being used to advertise Halloween Horrors.
With reference to Moove Media's rate card, one single deck bus traveling on the heartland route is already min. $22500 excluding GST. Other expenditure surely includes prints, online advertisements, the rental of the advertising space booked outside Cineleisure and the sticker pasted on their front glass doors and more.
Will a representative from your esteemed organization kindly step forward to reveal the cost associated with the entire marketing campaign and clarify if the various Halloween Horror visuals were done in-house or by Ogilvy & Mather, which was appointed as your advertising agency early this year?
How much compensation will have to be made to third party organization in view that there might be cancellation policies for some of the goods/services purchased? How is the cost going to be covered, especially when a 100% refund will be given to all the ticket holders?
Also, with the mess now created by the cancellation, will the organization be engaging the service of a PR agency in the near future? And if so, how much budget will be assigned for that and what is the source of this fund? Looking forward, how will WRS go about getting sponsors for other events and ensure them that such situation will not happen again?
We appreciate honesty and response from WRS.
Almost a ticket holder of Halloween Horrors 2011,
Eunice Nicole Lim
Personal attack is stupid and I think that it's strong enough for the public to look at the saga in a practical manner since the decision made by the new CEO was SO WRONG. Empty vessel makes the most noise, so does bells... Isabelle. HAHA.
